DIM3X Review
A plain review of PrimeGENIX DIM 3X: what is in it, what DIM research does and does not show, and who should check with a doctor first.

- Type: Daily capsule built around DIM (diindolylmethane)
- Stated ingredients: DIM, vitamin E, AstraGin, BioPerine
- Evidence status: DIM has been researched as a single ingredient. We did not find an independent trial of the DIM3X formula itself.
- Talk to a doctor first if: you are on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or any hormone medication, or you have a hormone-related condition
What is PrimeGENIX DIM 3X?

DIM 3X is a PrimeGENIX supplement from Leading Edge Health Inc. of Victoria, Canada. The manufacturer markets it to men as support for hormone balance, with a focus on how the body processes estrogen. The main ingredient is DIM, a compound the body produces when it digests indole-3-carbinol from brassica vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower.
It is a non-prescription supplement. It is not a medical hormone therapy and is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment of low testosterone.
Ingredients
The NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (label 306918, entered March 2024) lists, per capsule: DIM 200 mg, vitamin E 30 IU, AstraGin 2.5 mg and BioPerine 2.5 mg, in a vegetarian capsule. The directions say 1 to 2 capsules daily with meals (200 to 400 mg of DIM a day), and a bottle holds 90 capsules. The label’s “3x absorption” wording is the maker’s claim, and it does not say the DIM is the BR-DIM form used in most trials. See our DIM for men guide for the doses used in studies. Source: NIH DSLD label 306918.
- DIM (diindolylmethane): the core ingredient. See the next section for what research on DIM covers.
- Vitamin E: a fat-soluble vitamin and antioxidant. Earlier coverage linked it to testosterone production; we did not find evidence that the amount in DIM3X changes testosterone levels.
- AstraGin: a branded plant-extract ingredient that its maker markets as an absorption aid.
- BioPerine: a branded black pepper extract (piperine) that is included to help absorption of the other ingredients.
How DIM is thought to work
The points below describe research on DIM as a single ingredient. They are not results from a DIM3X trial, and they do not show what this finished product does in any one person.
- DIM has been studied for its effect on estrogen metabolism. Research has looked at whether it shifts the balance between 2-hydroxyestrone (a weaker estrogen metabolite) and 16-alpha-hydroxyestrone (a stronger one).
- Our earlier coverage and some supplement marketing said DIM reduces the conversion of testosterone to estrogen and so supports testosterone in men. We did not find independent evidence that DIM3X raises testosterone, so we do not make that claim.
- Earlier versions of our coverage linked DIM3X to weight loss, strength, stamina and libido. We could not support those outcomes for this product and have removed them.
For a longer look at DIM as an ingredient, see our guide to DIM supplementation benefits.
Who it may suit
- Adult men who want a DIM-based supplement and understand that the evidence is for the ingredient, not this formula
- People who prefer a short ingredient list they can check against their doctor’s advice
Who should avoid it or ask a doctor first
- Men on TRT or other hormone therapy: DIM is marketed for its effect on estrogen metabolism. Talk to the doctor managing your treatment before adding it.
- Anyone taking prescription medication or with a liver, hormone-related or other medical condition
- Anyone under 18
- Anyone who wants a treatment for diagnosed low testosterone. That needs a medical assessment, not a supplement.
Side effects
We did not find a published side-effect profile for DIM3X itself, and we have removed an earlier claim that it has “no negative side effects”. Any supplement can cause reactions in some people. Follow the label, stop taking it if you notice anything unusual, and speak to a pharmacist or doctor if you are unsure.
How long before results?
We have not found a results timeline for DIM3X that the manufacturer states and that we could verify, so we do not give one. Be wary of any fixed week-by-week promise.
Where to buy DIM3X
The seller’s own site is the official DIM3X website. This is an affiliate link: we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you.
We could not verify whether third-party sellers such as marketplace listings stock genuine, in-date product. Buying from the official site also means any guarantee the manufacturer offers applies to your order. Check the current guarantee terms on the official site before you buy, as we did not verify them for this review.
The official site says DIM3X comes with a “100% satisfaction, 67-day, money-back guarantee” (checked 27 September 2026). We have not tested a refund, so read the full terms before ordering.
Alternatives
- Testosil review: a different men’s supplement aimed at testosterone support
- CortiSync review: a PrimeGENIX adaptogen supplement marketed for stress and cortisol, from the same manufacturer
Bottom line
DIM3X is a simple DIM-based formula from an identified manufacturer. The research behind it is research on DIM, not on this product, and it does not establish testosterone, weight or libido outcomes. If you are on TRT or any hormone medication, speak to your doctor before trying it.
